Flamin' hell, the WC is only a year away! The years just zoom by.

Phew! That takes the pressure off. Dare I suggest it might be South Africa's turn?

Our Jamodi side has the mark of Howard all over it. We'll probably never play our potentially best side due to idiotic player rotations & prejudicial non selections.

You used to have a Shane Watson in your team once.

If only we could play tests with the same amount of fearlessness.

Yeah Bas, the same thing crossed my mind.
The England Test team and JAMODI side are chalk and cheese. Even some of the Test players (e.g. Moeen and Woakes) have grown an extra leg once the JAMODIs have rolled around.

Or they standout against inferior competition.

Is it time Seasick thought about his future ltd in overs cricket. Perhaps he could hand the captaincy over to someone who has a semblance of a clue.

different pitches ... bowlers aren't rewarded for great aggressive bowling on these decks, they're rewarded for circus tricks and persistence. It's the reason why Tests are more interesting than any of the shorter versions, which are always tonk-offs. The shorter the format, the less relevant good bowling becomes.

Funk joins Punter as most Jamodi tons in losses (for Oz) with 5
Punter has 29 in total and Funk 10

I dunno but I think it might be a mistake to send England in to bat at the SCG. I know the Aussies just lost two batting first but that doesn't mean things will be better when chasing.

Aye Nath.
Aus was pretty good for 40 overs then we got Buttlered. The bowling was pretty dumb in that final 10.
England (Buttler and Woakes) showed how the last 10 overs is done. Quality hitting.
Now I expect we'll crab to 200 and look to do what they did and make 100+ in the final 60 balls, and fail dismally by about 40 runs.

It was a disappointing Brett Lee type over. Everything either short or full. Buttler and Woakes said "Thanks very much".

Warner has had a pretty pisspoor summer. May be time to give the likes of D'Arcy Short a go.
And oh look, we are going at a doddling 5 runs per over. We are on track be 5-200 at 40 overs, all out 256 in the 49th.
