South Africa v Australia, 1st Test, Durban, 1-5 March, 2018
Faf du Plessis (capt), Hashim Amla, Temba Bavuma, Quinton de Kock, Theunis de Bruyn, AB de Villiers, Dean Elgar, Heinrich Klaasen, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, Morne Morkel, Wiaan Mulder, Lungisani Ngidi, Vernon Philander, Kagiso Rabada.
SA includes Klassen and X-files in its squad for Durban. Think Australia will go with roughly the same eleven that finished the Ashes, but could lean towards all pace depending on the pitch. Lyon could be important though.

Excellent news as when work is on the next day, it's hard to stay up late and watch.
BTW the SA squad is for the first two tests so Steyn's chances of figuring in the series appear to be slim.
A few Proteas are still under injury clouds.

Well basically they got time in the middle, but Warner has just landed.
The Aussies on hearing that Mulder is part of the test squad decided to rough him up. Starc peppered him with both bouncers and words.

What a batting line-up. The Yarp quicks must be quaking in their boots.

Yep, read that today too. Whateley sounds excited about the series.horace wrote:Also on SEN. Whately, BJ and Fleas.Fred Nerk wrote:Announced today it will be on the radio (ABC Grandstand)
Our batting isn't too bad with the form that Cummins is in coming in that late and Smith is head and shoulders above anyone else in the world. Given our well we do over there, especially our bowling, it would be surprising if we lost.
This is Morkel's last series before he retires. He will come to Australia to live, play County Cricket and for the Heat in the Big Bash. Roz Kelly has wanted to come here to live, like most other South Africans.

Various outlets reporting that slow decks will be provided to nullify Aus's "fearsome attack".
Hopefully Elmer gets 20+ wkts in the series then.
