Re: Rugby League 2018
Rabbits just had a dead set fair try disallowed for a forward that flat at very worst. Terrible call by the touchie.
And 5 plays later, the Warriors score a try right on HT. Geez, the Kiwis are big!!!

lol@Souffs , Warriors simply to big and strong on a dry track.
Storm clinical in beating the Dogs. Storm didn't miss a beat despite losing Cronk in the off season , and having Slater out injured.

Probably, Nath.
I'd better take a screen cap of the table.

Interesting stat from the opening round.
It is the 1st time in the history of the NRL (110 years) that the bottom 4 from the previous season have all won their opening games.

I think so, but being a Pinko he would say the sun shines out of Beattie's arse.

Not as bad as Goss and light years ahead of Krudd, but yet another stoopid moment in RL.

A belated Huzzah!! from me. I was in transit as HT approached with the score at 14-0, and I thought "the typical Drags have returned."
I watched a replay of the game on Foxy at 11 pm. Very much a game of 2 halves, but a great comeback by the Dragons nonetheless.

He was a very nasty person; he and Rudd were in close cahoots; I'm sure horrie probably had dealings with him too.
Beattie was as genuine and deep as a Merlin smiley emoticon.

It was pretty good D from the Drags to only concede 2 tries in that first half. How many repeat sets did the Sharks have? It was rope-a-dope stuff.
Good scrambling, desperate D is always a great sign - it shows that the team is playing for each other. Hopefully it will last more than half a season this year.

Nah they were not close. Krudd remains one of the vilest people I have met. Almost (yet again) got the bullet over a PB decision to give Joh BP around the clock home nursing service when other Billy oldsters struggled to get a tiny amount of home help. Around the same time he used the race card following the murder of a Palm Island resident by a copper and ensuing community riot. Really hated PB after that. Goss was a nice enough bloke but showed negligible interest in health, housing child protection etc.

Aye, the Sharkies had 65% possession in the 1st Half but thankfully the Drags muscled up and kept them to two tries only.
And aye on the half a season comment.

I didn't mean that they were personally close; only that they were almost equally vile narcissistic qunts with no empathy for anybody outside their own skins or energy for anything that did not advance their own personal agenda.

Oh dear! A goalpost upright has tackled Scott Bolton & stopped him scoring the match-winning try.

Meanwhile Benny delivered a very sulky & sooky presser - "you'll never divide us". Deary me.

Whoyne is incapable of anything else.
Watched a bit of the Rooters v the Pugs. Always difficult to barrack against both teams.
.eanwhile Billy Slater is about to play his 300th. Fantastic achievement by the little fella.
