Five and a half minutes from fulltime, Canberra trailled Canterbury 28 - 14. Three tries later & they won 32 - 28.

Match winner Blake Austin looked "happy" in the post-match interview. Clearly Canberra have pissed him off.

Infuriatingly lazy effort by the Dragons v Tigers today. Lazy, slow to move up defensive line, and no support play. They looked to individual efforts and hero plays all day. Widdop tried hard but couldn't get his charges going.

I'm calling it. Drags cannot win the comp.

Drags don’t have enough depth in the backs to win. That was utterly sloppy today.

Hopefully now that the SOO is over we can get some consistency back.

So the Drags arrest a bit of a slump by snotting the Cows, and go back to the top of the ladder (by a single point on PD) after the Tigers belt the Bunnies.

The Tigers will regret their mid-season poor form as they remain 2 wins behind the Nags in 8th.

The Storm look the team to beat as they close out the business end with a wet sail.

Storm held off the Worriers in NZ this arvo to go back to the top of the ladder. 16 PD points separating Storm, Drags and Bunnies (all on 28 pts).

I turned off at 24-6 to Manly and was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Panthers scored 4 tries in the final 7 minutes to win 28-24!!!!

Indeed Q. They've been very ordinary since the 2nd SoO AND since Widdop changed his hair colour.

The lack of backing up in attack is galling. The team has hit the "bludge" button.
