I cannot recall barracking for the Yarps, aside from when they play the Bannies or Pomgolia.

Mind you, I still will barrack for Filth Always Filth to fail, yet again.
Cannot believe Mrs R is slated to play.
The bnlg fix?

How many of the current Aus side will be allowed to appear?
Looks like only Smith and Warner are confirmed outs. People wanted Renshaw in anyway. Things may change after Sutherland's presser which is expected to be about three in the morning our time.
At least he finally landed. Was hearing for a couple of days that he was on the plane bound for SA. Clearly he wasn't on the Qantas Dreamliner which set a record on the trip to London.

Mostly probably because London is not in South Africa

True, but it was clearly either a very slow plane or one which kept stopping.

I'd rather Oz forfeit this Test and send CSA a compensation cheque
It's cheaping Test Cricket if they play
No one in the Oz team should be in the mental state to play anywhere near their ability

About time given that we had heard for a couple of days that he was on this flight.
Have noticed that the temperature is gradually changing. Like a lot of issues and controversies, there is a lot of sound and fury to begin with and then people start reflecting in a more measured way.
The calls to ban them all for life are receding.

What's the time difference between SA and eastern Aus, taips - and SA / UK ?
I remember from Falklands tours an 8 hr flight to Ascension - 2 hour refuel stop, then a further 8 hours flying, but only 4 hours time difference.

Time for a bit of Tawny Greig 'I intend to make them grovel' type stuff?
I suspect it may be a bit of a damp squib as the Aussie forummers have suggested. The pantomime villains have exited stage left and the remaining cast will be anxious to get the f**k home, And as those left behind are not particularly charismatic you're not left with much to get stuck into. You might end up feeling like bullies...which is annoying as that's how they as a team have behaved for a long, long time and you want to give it back to them but some sort of dignity prevails.
Also I don't get a sense that the Saff players have been too critical regarding this incident - and as such I don't think there's going to be huge motivation in them to have the hostility in them at Jo'burg to go out and destroy Australia. Glass houses and stones comes to mind (and in the interest of fairness I suspect all teams are trying ways to affect the ball so this is potentially just a situation of degrees of difference we're talking about here). It's entertaining though.

Yeah I agree with all that. We are probably just as dirty. Maybe not so stupid any more.
Destroying Aussie spectators will be like clubbing baby seals.

If you could manage this around Nov-Feb 2018/19 I'd be terribly grateful old boy.
PS: I'll be cheering for 'Straya all the way on this one, dunno why but I hope they stuff the Effricans.

Has to be more Paine for Australia... they’re going into the Lyon’s den and the crowd will give them Starc reminders of what’s happened.
