At that point, qualifying finals will see the sixth-placed finisher meet third, and fifth play fourth in a round of qualifying finals, from where the respective winners will be drawn against the two top teams in a pair of semi-finals.
The victors will then play-off for the JLT Cup.
Once again Tassie & SA get F'D in the A by CA.

Ridiculous. No reasoning provided. Ramsay is a disgrace.
What is the Drmmoyne Oval like. Hopefully it is more challenging than the NS postage stamp.

Drummoyne Oval is another postage stamp.

Gary Kirsten has resigned as Hurricanes coach for personal reasons. Griffo has been appointed head coach.
Re: Australian Domestic Season 2018-19
Look out, Drunky's been at the B&B again.
"Australia are in the midst of their worst ever one-day international streak, but legendary former captain Ricky Ponting insists they will be a force at next year's World Cup.
Led by first-time ODI skipper Tim Paine and new coach Justin Langer, Australia were last month handed a 5-0 drubbing by world No.1 ODI side England in the United Kingdom, the venue for next year's showpiece event.
...
But Ponting, a three-time World Cup winner and twice as captain, boldly asserted Australia will be able to match it with the best when they begin their title defence in June next year.
"One thing I do know is we've got still the best depth of any cricket nation in the world and I will continue to say that," the 43-year-old said at a Channel Seven promotional event. "We'll keep producing great players. "

Geez Ricky, have another schooner.
When players like Jye Richardson, Ashton Agar, and Nick Maddinson feature in our ODI and T20 sides, this alleged depth is not evident.

Re: Australian Domestic Season 2018-19
Cric Oz have finally made the Shield final relevant. In case of a draw the winner will be decided on bonus points picked up during the season instead of the home side playing for a draw on a prepared road.
Re: Australian Domestic Season 2018-19
Good ruling. It should eliminate the Twattos of the world batting for 3 days on a road.

Bonus points in the shield final ....not the season
Bonus points available in the first 100 overs of the first innings

Always nice to toss the Billie's. On making 50 did No Show wave two fingers at the camera and mouth, "Get Farked gnome"?

Sydney Grade comp starts this weekend. Smith is playing against Mosman - however it is in Sutherland, not at Mosman's oval which is just around the corner from me.

Wozzies vs Dubbers today
NSW Squad: Kurtis Patterson (c), Sean Abbott, Harry Conway, Trent Copeland, Jack Edwards, Mickey Edwards, Ryan Gibson, Moises Henriques, Daniel Hughes, Nick Larkin, Jay Lenton (wk), Stephen O'Keefe, Daniel Sams, Jason Sangha
Nifty busted his thumb in the WACA nets yesterday ...replace by Jay Leno
Wozzies have a strong bowling line up and a brittle batting set up ...
expect us to concede 300 and get rolled for about 100 ....
or get rolled for 100 and have the dubbers 9 down when they pass the score with a 60 run partnership

Plenty of no-names and a few no-talents (I'm looking at you, Reeks) in that Dubber squad.

Hopefully young Jason Sangha is a step in the right direction. A great young batsman, apparently*.
I'd better apply an anti-KOD hex.

Re: Australian Domestic Season 2018-19
Wade 117 off 74 balls. Opening partnership with McDermott of 170.
Tassy 2/218 off 34 overs possibly heading for a huge score
Chris Tremain 0/63 off 6 overs.

Poor final 10 overs by Tas to reach 8/321. Probably 30 short of where they should be.

I guess you would be critical of Wade for that.

This Rogers fellow was a good pickup by Tassie. Vic 7/223 with 99 runs still to get.
