I heard him too and didn't think he sounded bitter. He acknowledged that we didn't play well enough. The problem is he's gone with the same pathetic midfield that misfired in last year's GF again. We have no A graders in our midfield; the Giants have about five.

Think the Giants are the more talented team on the field today, quite easily in fact, but Tigers will win by dint of being fresher. The men in orange have had a tough road into the finale, especially playing in the Brisbane heat then followed by a slog in the rain, admittedly against the limp-wristed Pies.

Why would he sound bitter.  He's already picked up the only four prizes he gives a flying about.  Albeit one undeserved and one had to be shared .
