Rugby WC 2019
Kicked off last night with Japan predictably winning over Russia in a very entertaining game. Australia play Fiji later today followed by France & Argentina & the biggie, All Blacks v Boks.
Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, South Africa, England, France, Australia, Wales should be the teams to make it through to the quarter finals but there is plenty of scope for upsets.

Re: Rugby WC 2019
It's Fiji and our team I'm worried about.

I have Argentina in place of France.

But it was the cleaning lady? Anyway I think there was an AB team back in the late seventies, early eighties used the same excuse during a Bledisloe decider. But back then we had Gould, McLean,Moon etc. Throw in Mark Ella on the bench

Should have saw been more. Everyone saw the exposed flank except the Fijians. Not sure we'll get that lucky twice

Supposedly a waitress. Rewatched the game 2 days ago. The ABs seemed to have plenty of energy.

Re: Rugby WC 2019
Scrappy win to Aust. Still committing too many basic errors. Final score flattered them. Won't get away with that against Wales.

All depends on which France turns up.

Second time running that England have got the group that contains three of the top nine nations. A debacle like last time isn’t out of the question, but more likely is say we lose to Argentina and beat France and all finish level, then it’s down to bonus points and how many points we can put past the lesser sides.

Yeah, I’d forgotten about France’s capability for second half implosion, we saw this in the Six Nations.

Re: Rugby WC 2019
The much under-used drop goal... something every team needs in their armoury in a tight game, even if it perhaps shouldn’t be plan A as per Wilkinson on occasions and De Beer...
