Dunno. All's I do know is they use babies foreskin as a skin transplant now and they can stretch each one to the size of a football field. That takes constant chemical spraying, but it shows what's possible.
!
Is this true? I wouldn't normally believe it but a medical student once told me that one man's intestines can stretch enough to go around the world.
go on, bet you can't
He wouldn't have the guts to try it . . .
Thumbs up!

Totally true. It's mainly in America(loads more circumstision) at the minute, but they spray it with chemicals constantly while this machine just keeps stretching it ever-so-slightly, then they start folding it onto these big racks.
foreskins on big racks, who'd have thunk it

I'm sure there's websites promoting this sort of thing.

Jim speaks the truth.
The 26th of January is Republic Day in India, marking the day that Indiakicked the Poms out tobecame a Republic.
So happy Republic Day to all our Indian friends.
I'm celebrating both days by having people around for a barbie. Cricket and tennis on the tele, swimming in the backyard, lamb on the barbie and cold ones in the esky... all we need is the weather to be kind.
Cheers.
Slight correction. The Poms left 3 years earlier.

So maybe it should be renamed "Wombat Day" in the two nations - you know, pommies coming & going. Then again, it might mislead poms into believing they are relevant.

You have an affinity with a pig's arse?
That might explain a lot of things I suppose!

I've yet to demonstrate one, merlian - and with your constant presence I've had plenty of opportunity to develop it if I'd possessed the ability.

Re: Australia Day
I'd like to see some stats on that, but I'd have thought that the non English (and Irish) would be in the majority by now. There's been so much immigration from so many different countries . . .skully wrote:I did say "most" taily. Re: Australia Day
Well tails. Most recent ABS stats say the following in terms of migration (for 2005/06):
"People born in the United Kingdom accounted for 23% of all overseas-born persons in Australia's population, followed by New Zealand (10%) and Italy, China and Viet Nam (4% each)."
Trending back until the times of James Cook, I think the current 23% Poms would climb dramatically. Hence my unresearched but probably not-far-off-the-mark line about most of us being of Pom or Irish decent. No offence intended.

Don't apologize to tails, FFS, she's just being a precious little pedant. Copped some grief today at work or some such, so comes on the forum to take it out on people. Pathetic.

Taily is in denial. She'll probably try to re-write history when you're a republic too.
Even if Aus had nothing to do with the UK, the native english speaking countries of the world are closer culturally than most like to admit.
