Re: Corona Virus
Ha. That's good.
In these uncertain times, I have been out in the sticks for a few days.
The local supermarket had plenty of eggs and other essentials (but no toilet paper - really people??). It was tranquil, serene and more importantly, safer than wandering around the city.
On our way back we ventured into Bunnings at Dural to put in a special order for a building project. It was quieter than normal but people still seem oblivious to this current threat.
Nobody seemed to care about social distancing and almost no-one had a mask on. At least me and my partner felt safe in wearing a mask.
Am I being too hard?

Nup. Pretty much the same all over up here. Though someone said it was wierd not seeing any masks in Cairns. You can normally see them all year around but alas no Asian tourists.

Re: Corona Virus
Hav'nt seen any masks down here but everyone seems very aware of social distancing. Most shops keep their doors open so no one has to touch them & put markers on the floor at checkouts to keep people apart.
Re: Corona Virus
And now we're starting to see bins overflowing with rotten, stinking food. Why?
Because all the cockwombles did their "weekly shop" last week. Bought 2 stone of fresh veg, 3 lots of fish, 4 chickens and 5 loaves of bread. Now the 90% they've not eaten has gone out of date.

Even with those markers on the floor, some idiots can't observe the rules. Yesterday I was at the self-checkout, a guy was basically coming over my shoulder so I pointed to the spot where he should be standing. Not sure why the staff don't police this. Â Also when walking on the sea path, some people insist on holding hands and walking a number abreast to prevent social distancing, so others have to stop for them. Let's hope these idiots don't breed as how highly regulated world doesn't allow Darwin to do his stuff.

Brings out the best in human nature ...
Fair shout to the medical volunteers though. And the returning medically trained, volunteering also. The best, without irony.

We have learned that not all workers are equal, but some are more equal than others.

Re: Corona Virus
RWNJ's leading the countries struggling with accelerating CV-19.
1. Brazil's Bolsonaro claims Brazilans are immune to the disease.
2 Trump is delighted his CV-19 pressers outrate reality TV progams on at the same time.
These morons make Morrison look competent.

Hardly.
ScuMo has been hopeless but has been miles better than Bolsonaro and Trump.
Aside from the fekk up with the cruise ship - the one boat that needed stopping since the First Fleet - the Oz govt has done better than I expected. ScuMo might be an idiot happy clapper but it seems he does listen to expert advice.

PMSL - the Guardian!!! You do realise it's a massively pinko rag, don't you, h.
Just stick to the ABC, h. It'll cut out any unnecessary pinko middle media for you.
I shudder to think what sort of mess we'd be in if the festering Shortarse was our PM. He's a dithering, ego-maniacal dumb fark.

Re: Corona Virus
I can guarantee you if just like the gun laws if the ALP had used the exact same measures as scomo, they wouldn't have got them through parliament and the LNP would have been on the front lawn with a crowd whipped up by Sky using terms like dictator.
