Weather should largely hold out for T20 QFs today, but Saturday still looks likely to be a total wash-out. With Sunday also looking like frequent showers, would it be fitting for this strangest of seasons to end with a series of bowl-outs in an indoor net at Edgbaston?

T20 Finals Day at the Edgbaston swamp. Anyone thinking top level cricket can be played in England at this time of year needs to be spoken to.

I get it that there are extenuating circumstances, but it will be some achievement if there is not a serious injury to someone slipping over.
