Hmmn. C.82% of the Irish population are fully vaccinated now but they are still getting 2K + positive cases per day. Still handfuls of deaths and obviously no good.

I think the Doherty Institute's 80% vaxxed rate adopted by ScuMo et al is flawed.

BioHazard and Binchicken have given up. Soon I expect death rates will be fudged. They seem to be now rattling on with complaints about other States closing borders.

The Irish numbers should give all of us pause for concern. IMO even with full vaxxing, masks and social distancing will be a feature for some time in what remains of public life.

The same here in Vic. Dan has been saying these families in the north and west have been visiting each other illegally.

BTW India's Delta variant has a lot to answer for too. Having the IPL and generally not curbing the virus has allowed a virulent strain to emerge and it's much more lethal than the original version.
