Just waiting on Head's fitness...Maxwell to play if he isnt fit
Holland has a cut finger and Agar a side strain so Swepson is in by default

Unfortunate byline ... 'Cummins to give Head until just before the toss to prove his fitness'

Cummins needs 3 wickets for 200.

Sri Lanka win the toss and will bat.
Maxwell omitted, a half-fit Head preferred.

Missed the start - been to see Elvis at the flicks.
Decent watch, if a little exhausting (2.5 hours long).

2.5 hours of Elvis is 147 minutes too long.

Far too long; my preferred length is about 95 mins max. I saw a French film Maigret yesterday which was just about right in terms of time.

Five more (first innings therefore irrelevant) wickets to Lyon, three to Schweppes, Warner again totally unconvincing

No vision here in Port.
Nice to see Elmer get another michelle. Couple of early peaches from Schweppes as well.

Lyon will - with 3 more wickets - enter the top 10 Test wicket takers of all time.

Shocking mix-up between Ussie and Smith. Smith was filthy with Ussie and his shirt was just as dirty after diving on that pitch.

Watched much of the day. Lyon bowled beautifully - yes, Lardy it was Day1. After Warney has there been a better D.1 spinner than Lyon.
* Warner batted as if he was on borrowed time. He was. All in all 25 was a better than expected return.
* Marnus looked out of sorts and was out reverse sweeping.
* Smith looked uncomfortable and thank fekk he was run out and not Usman. Thought he was partly culpable and even if he was blameless his behaviour was inexcusable. What has this bloke ever learned?

5-157 with Khawaja now gone. Looks like parity or near parity after the first innings from each team.

Thanks, Cameron Green; that has given us a good lead. A few slogged sixes from Pat Cummins right at the end of the day to ice the cake.

Aye, looks a great knock from Snot.
Mariah helped him get us in front, then some late quality hitting from 2nd got us beyond the 100 lead.
Handy, though 150 would be better. Maybe 2nd and Elmer can snot a few around tomoz.

Cummins has followed stokes approach; few overs of the day left, and 8 wkts down, no problem i'll just hit 3 sixes!
