Be great to wangle another 30-40 runs before we’re all out. Would not like to be chasing 150 in the 4th on this deck.

All over. Head 4-10!

Lyon now in top 10 wicket-takers in Test cricket; 4 more and he goes past that pie-chucker Dale Steyn.

Still unable to take a 4th innings Michelle ...

Somewhat of a collapse by the Lankans.
Inspired captaincy by Second , giving the ball to Head who before today hadn't taken a test match wicket.

Was a spell like AB's against the Windies all those years ago, or maybe Michael Clarke's 6/9?

Were Clarke's wickets his first in Test cricket?
If so, had he previously bowled in Tests at all?
(If the answers to both questions was 'no', then he would have ended the Test with a career-to-date bowling average of 1.5, surely some kind of record)

Once again the hosts fell for the India 2017 three-card trick, producing a Bunsen so outrageous that even a nude spinner or part-timer can take wickets on it. Surely the 'right' level of pitch manipulation that best increases the home team's chances is to produce a pitch 'we' can bowl on but 'they' can't? The Windies of the Marshall-Ambrose area almost never got that wrong. Also, seeing as only two of them can bowl at once, is there value in playing three spinners esp if not many of them do much with the bat?

Would've thought his name and passport was enough to answer that question.

Surprisingly meek effort by the Lankans. Their fans would be very disappointed with the lack of application.

As lardy alluded, a smallish target may have been tricky, but the Lankans threw a lot of their wickets away with wild sweeps.

Well done to Snot on his MoM. Also to Elmer for moving into the top 10.

Onto T2.

He took 0-4 off 1 over in the 2nd innings of his 1st Test (T1 v India in Oct 2004), before his 6-9 in T4 of that series.
