Quiz Question:

What links Mark Wood, Harmi and the Charlton Brothers?

Wood has outscored Brook, Bairstow and Root.

In six deliveries.

Tongue in for Robinson would be a big improvement (should have happened this Test of course), and Rehan to swap Broad out.

Since they dislike Foakes for some reason, Simpson (to 7) in for the shellshocked Brook, Bairstow to 3 with instructions to go out and fight.

i.e. They'll keep the same XI if they can. ...

The extras/sundries banquet in this series continues.

23 in the Aus innings - 21 so far in this Hingerlund knock.

Stokes spilled twice in two balls.

Are Australia "catching" the English disease? (Not syphilis btw)

Or a Mankad?

Seriously, Stokes must be doing serious damage not only to the Aussie lead, but to his own body here. Career-threatening?

A partnership of two standing hitters.

How much longer can they stand not only the bowling, but the pain?

Hope not.

Seems he has a quad injury as well.

Question - what will be the demands on Stokes to field to maintain his place in the batting order in the second dig.

I don't know the answer.

But don't put him in at #11, or he might whack a matchwinning ton, the bastard ....

Lol.

I really do not like the rule. Iirc all brought about in reaction to Fat Arjuna and to lesser extent Ganguly who both took exception to running between wickets.

I think runners should be allowed in genuine cases such as Stokes and Pope if they want them and the demand they field when injured in the course of play is palpably unfair.
