Re: I like Owais Shah...
Seems like an honest and decent interview to me.
He accepts that he was an average player before he went to see Azharrudin in India and changed his technique slightly. I didn't see any narcissism. You must just mean the "I know I'm talented but talent only gets you so far" soundbite at the start. Just sounds like the truth to me.
After that it's all good stuff.

Yeah, I wasn't digging at him too much. Just seems like the kind of video Kevin Pietersen would make for himself - playing it back on a loop on every TV in his house 24/7.
The work-out montage, complete with hand-clapping press-ups was unintentionally funny, mind...

The stuff about Ken Cross is quite touching.

I think he's rather sweet, he's just being honest in the interview.
Plus he can come and walk around my house in a tight white teashirt anytime, even if the workout bit was a bit Right Said Fredish.

No, matey, you've got to work on that 'head' technique.

Good interview.
A focused, determined and generous guy ? Yes.
Arrogant and self-centred (as some believe) ? No.

Surprised you're not angry at Dello for putting your wank-vids on Youtoob.

I'll have a word .... now!
Seriously - Shah is a focused cricketer and a warm friendly character.
Have met and chatted to him often at c o p during Mddsx games and at various club functions.
Where this "he's an arrogant git" crap comes from f*ck knows.... prolly Vawn's spin doctor .. who knows?
Irritating though.

I've never got that vibe, apart from when he's out on the pitch. 'Around the circuit' would probably be your answer, though what that means in essence I don't know. The stories were that's why Felch didn't like him, but I suppose we'll never know.
As for that video, there was nothing to suggest he 'loves himself'
Re: I like Owais Shah...
I don't like Owais Shah. Something along the lines of a Python sketch.

Congrats all round. We won't send Jim Courier down to interview you this time.
21 is the current record. I suggest if anybody tries to break it they have to play fair by keeping thir posts relevant to the threads (though God knows that would set some ghastly precedents!)
Anyway I'm orf!
