Erm, given the current state of the batting, maybe the selectors did the right thing. So what chance of us scratching our way to 230 again and defending, ala Perth? I think not this time. Pitch looks fine.

I wouldn't blame the aussies too much ... they are facing the best pace attack since the eclipse of West Indies. Added to that is traditional Indian strength in spin.

On this display, they don't deserve to make the Finals. The batting has been very disappointing since the Tests ended.

Pup needs to go inorder to restrict Aus total.

I'm going to ask for a mass culling at the BCCI if they let injuries get him as well.

Aye - worst performance by a basically full strenght Aust team for a long time. Only two players looked like they wanted to be there - Clarke (who had no choice but to try given that we was playing injured) and Hogggyyyy!!!!! who plays every game for Aust like it could could be his last.


The rest were utter shite. Ponting should apologise to the crowd.


BTW - I don't want to take anything away from India who bowled very well.
