That is farkin UN-BEE-LEAVE-ABLE. 203 was never enough and yet we get a bonus point. Midge continues to improve, Hopes is more than handy, and Hogggyyy!!! did a job. We even still contrived to muck up a catch in the slips. But yet we still got up.
I hope Gilly's left thumb is not broken.
That just about locks a Finals spot, which is hella funny given how sh!te we batted. And to top it all off, the boys had an opportunity to sledge Bhajji.
A thoroughly enjoyable, if very surprising, turn of events this evening. Trev must be gagging.

oh dear .. seems like sending Pathan at #3 was so wrong. In any case he has bowled 10 overs .. his feet are sore and he doesn't seem to make more than 15-20 runs in any case whereas if he comes lower down the order, he is that much more rested.
If the idea was to protect Sharma and Yuvraj that failed too since Sharma doesn't put a high price to his wicket and Yuvraj is coming out of a slump.

It's also funny that in what is possibly Gilchrist's last game for Australia, millions of people around the world heard him yell,"Aaaaaahhh you C*NT!" through the stump mic.

Classy stuff Trev. May your cat get sliced and diced by a Council nature strip mower and may your mattress be infested with the fleas of a 100 smelly, oozing prossies.Henry wrote:I hope Gilly's left thumb is not broken.

My simple motto in life comes home to roost. "When Australia is winning at cricket, all is right in the world". Add the bonus of "Mudge is spewing that the Aussies have won from nowhere" and life for this sweet, short moment is just fine.

And how farkin good is it to see the occasional low-200 score being a decent and unattainable target. Fark these 400 runs-in-an-innings slogathons.

And I see the Aussie Eamonn Sullivan just broke the 50m freestyle WR.

Clarke made more than double the runs anybody else on the park could manage, when he wasn't supposed to play at all, but still the flat-earth crowd bleat....
