Football trivia.
Whoever answers the question correctly gets to post the next question. No cheating!
Heard a good one in the pub today.
Who is the only player to have played for Man United, Man City, Liverpool and Everton?

Re: Football trivia.
Walleroonie's got it, I reckon. Doubt he was official though, at either Manc Club.
Re: Football trivia.
Correct!
How did you know? You've given no indication that you're a football fan, never mind a football fan who'd know a reasonably difficult trivia question! Be honest - did you cheat?
Anyway, you've answered it so you've got to set one of your own, Wally.

Oooh! Oooh! I know... I know... they were on about it when Millwall got there... Joe Marsden? Cahill was only the third.

That's close enough, Danny.
It was Joe Marston.
Your turn!

It was the commentator's poor diction obviously!
Ok. Name two players to score a hat-trick in all four top-flight English divisions, FA and League cup ties?

I was on a forum where someone asked the same question about Beardsley. I thought it was this one but it might have been another. And I do follow football but don't have Pay TV, so I can't watch the games live like most other people here.
...... or watch international cricket live other than on Ch9.

One is Derby legend Robbie Earnshaw. He's the only one to score one in Internationals as well.

Yep. Bob is one. Well done.
Re: Football trivia.
I can't think who the other one is. I reckon it's probably a trick question.
Dixie Dean maybe?

I'm stumped. I'm probably too young. Someone else will have to get this one. Perhaps Lever knows.

Re: Football trivia.
F*ck it. You have the question as you got one of them innit.. His name was Steve Bull. He was a pretty awesome goalscorer. Got 50-odd one season. Played for Wolves and was probably punished for his loyalty..

Whoa - hold the phone. Craig Johnston was an Aussie, no? Scored in the '86 Cup final for Liverpool.

That's not true either. Bully never played in the top division of English football with Wolves, and only played a couple of games with WBA as a youngster in division one during the 80s.
Who did he score his top-flight hat-trick against?

Yeah. Why? Do you need me to tell you to do the math?
