Actually it is remarkable, that with one well-known exception, every man who has played one-day or Test cricket for Australia since 1970 is still alive.
Compare that with the teams that toured Australia in 74-75 and 75-76, which have each already lost three players.

I was thinking about this yesterday at the SCG when I was talking about WSC to my brother. I predicted that Simmo would be the next to go of those from the 70s+ although who knows what sort of state Gus Glmour's liver is in.

Was there an Australian tour in the late 60s which all of Wally Grout, Barry Shepherd, Neil Hawke and Peter Burge missed?
So far the oldest intact Australian touring team I can find is the India/SA venture in 69-70, although Ray Jordon (for one) has had his share of health issues.
