So much of what he wrote being second-rate does not necessarily mean he wouldn't recognise or appreciate the real thing. Besides, that isn't a bad piece and it seemed particularly apposite to the thread.tac wrote:Unfortunately, nor would Rupert Brooke . . .freddled gruntbuggly wrote:Get ****ed, skully. So taccy can eff and blind to his heart's content, abuse all and sundry with the grossest crudity, get around the swear filter with judicious tricks and use more four-letter words in a hours posting than most people realise exist in the English language and it's just 'amusing', but one set of asterisks from me and it undoes all the good? I give up. I absobloodylutely give up. Let me know when you're capable of applying some logic and/or consistency.
If ever.

WGAF?
It's not like it's earth shattering and anyone on here gives a damn about her use of asterisks or whether your thoughts on NSR doseages really matter !
Must be that time of the month for BOTH of you, from the sounds of things!

My mummy said that the caramel rice krispie squares are better than the original ones. After eating a few, I'm inclined to agree. Brilliano.

If you did it any other way, they would have to lock you up FFS.
This applies to Twix too, obviously.

Jaffa Cakes, eat the sponge, pick the chocolate off then eat the orangey bit all by itself. Bliss.

And with Creme Eggs, I used to bite the top off and lick all the goo out and then eat the chocolate shell.

I still do that, they have to have been in the fridge for a good hour at least too, so the chocolate is really hard and cracks when you bite the top off.
