Yup I would hope so. Despite his bad technique he just looks a better player than Rogers.

The bookies at Sportsbet have Hodge as favourite to partner the big ugly FTB.

Re: Australia A v Pakistan A
Actually, found them:
Name
Odds
Australia's Next Test Opening Bat
<H2>
</H2>
Brad Hodge
2.50
Phil Jaques
3.00
Chris Rogers
3.50
Shane Watson
7.00
Mike Hussey
15.00
Any Other Player
21.00
Gotta be pretty decent odds on Paris. It is more logical for Paris to open and Hodge to bat at 4.

But Ponting et al have stated that Paris will bat at 4, at least to begin with.

There's no such thing as logic where Victorians are involved.

Re: Australia A v Pakistan A
Stoopid MacDill
YT should have recommended he be suspended for a few Tests...CRICKET Australia (CA) blasted Stuart MacGill for a lack of leadership after the leg-spinner was fined for a fiery outburst during Australia A's tour of Pakistan.
MacGill has been fined 50 per cent of his match fee for breaching CA's code of behaviour during Australia A's match against Pakistan A in Faisalabad.
The behavioural lapse comes at a bad time for the 36-year-old MacGill, who is attempting to resurrect his international career.
MacGill has taken 198 wickets in 40 Tests and is in a strong position to reclaim his Test spot for this summer's matches against Sri Lanka and India, following Shane Warne's retirement.
But on MacGill faced Australia A coach Dene Hills, captain Adam Voges and vice-captain Cameron White to explain his conduct.

from CA:Chandan wrote:But what did he do? Macgill, I mean?
"The player was reported under clause 2.6 of the CA Code of Behaviour which relates to “use [of] language that is obscene, offensive or of a generally insulting nature to another player, official or spectator”.
MacGill was reported following an incident towards the closing stages of the match, where MacGill approached Pakistan A’s Mansoor Amjad after the player was struck on the foot from one of MacGill’s delivery’s."

Realistically, that will be the bottom four. I was only really picking a batting order and adding the most probably tail on. Personally, I'd play Hilfenhaus instead of Tait, but I don't see it happening.

suspect that magoo has played his last game for any Oz Team...the selectors and the board must have had him up to the back teeth...suspect he might move to pakistan to join up with glawson
