Re: I've just bought tickets....
Am I the only one that's got any cricket planned this summer?
Had a form from Trent Bridge saying that there's still tickets.

They've just arrived.
It will rain, won't it?
Kallis won't play.

£70 each though!
Ouch, that sounds a bit steep. How much does it cost to sit in the cheap seats? It's £24 to sit on the Western Terrace at Headingley and for £60 you get to sit on Brian Closes knee while being fed seedless grapes by Yorkshire Chief Exec Stewart Regan.

From what I can remember, there wasn't much in it. I think they were still something like £50/£60.

It's £24 to sit on the Western Terrace with a bunch of Northern qunuts.

If only that was true. These days the terrace is awash with shandy drinking southern poofters taking advantage of the cheap prices and making a weekend end of it. Worse still is the fact they can't take their drink and after a pitiful 4 bottles of Old Rosie they start rolling around in the gutter and acting like tw@ts.

Oooooh roughneck Geoff. Not only are you hard as nails, you're a fookin big drinkeh. Congrats, sir, congrats. Have you ever thought about taking part in 'Britain's Hardest Man' or just taking over the country single-handed, in the style of the Incredible Hulk - but harder?

Strewth, what is it with you lads? I'm on the receiving end of all manner of northern, cockknocking thunderqunt, wife beating insults and the moment I join in and give some back I get this bollocks. It's just the sort of nonsense that marks you down as the typical, soft southern, limp-wristed, shandy drinking wooftah, stereotype, FOR REAL!
For heavens sake lighten up boys, I might be a big drinking, hard as nails, wife beating northern bast@rd, but I'm a big softy at heart, honest I am. Besides which, I'm up here in Gods county wi'mi whippets and you're down yon London way mincing abaht with thi silly haircuts, so there's no need to be afraid. :o :bom:

Look Geoff, I've got visions of you now, sitting up there drinking lava, munching on granite, planning to come down to beat me up, after going to your local zoo to warm up by beating up a tiger and gorilla at the same time. I'm too scared to converse with you. What with 'hospital' and all. I'm close to telling my mum as it is and possibly ringing the rozzers.
Re: I've just bought tickets....
Whatever you do, please don't ring the rozzers, it will mean I get a heavier sentence for breaching my bail terms.

Ah, I see, in that case I'm sorry for putting you in the same bracket as Fink, thas still a shandy drinking soft savvern cant though. Anyone that behaves the way you did after drinking a girls drink like Old Rosie must be.
Oh, and by the way, tha'll need more than a pick axe handle owd love.

Ah, and your still a nuckle dragging, coal chomping Northerner.
I farking hate cider, its for those inbreds in the West Country, but Old Rosie is potent stuff compared to the p1ss weak lager we get down here.
Although we can all agree that the Aussie fizzie, bass shandy strength Lager is by far the worst!

I've put the phone down now, Geoff. Moment of madness.
I don't mind you calling me any names, but I don't speak like a mockney tosser - you f*cking racist - savvern cant is actually suv'n qunt round my way.
I know I need more than a pickaxe handle - that was just for show. I've a nuclear warhead ready to shove up your arse, but TBH I think it's futile. You're that f*cking hard that it wouldn't do much good.... you cuddly ex-hooligan roughneck, hardlad.
I'd just tell you that food stamps are getting cancelled. You'd probably die of a heart attack and/or great sorrow.
