Point taken skulls ...
But count me out mate ...
I'm told that I lack comprehension.
Lorra balls if you ask me ...

I know you guys are not phased by the "abuse" at all (Lord knows, I have copped more than my fair share from the crazy wozzie in the early days of this place).
I apologise for slipping into pseudo-moderator mode but JD has made is clear to us that we WILL be binned if we continually overstep the mark. Who of you is gonna step up to create a new haven if we get binned?? JD has made it clear that it will not be him.
[Awaits "goin' get farked, ya sook" flames]
Personally, I think most have shown a fair amount of restraint today.

I'd actually like the example of what not to do or say on here so I don't overstep the mark. You could well argue it's 'common sense' but to me there isn't alot wrong with this thread and I personally need pointers as to which bits I need to cut out.
Re: T20 Cricket: some thoughts.
Probably c*ck and c*ckjuggler are the "nouns" skully is refering to, but they ain't that bad, are they?

Best left unanswered....
Agree though ... there really isn't anything grossly wrong with the thread.
Lighthearted banter which isn't being taken seriously .... until we got to the "bits" bit.

I mean, is that allowed or is it too 'cutting edge'? I need guidance. I'll mess this place up in the end being as innocent as Bambi.

Zim: read your initial post, agree absolutely with everything you said.
I've barely watched any 20/20 matches; but what I have seen made me think it was just a waste of time and effort.
It's only a matter of time (may have happened already and I just didn't notice) before a key player misses a test series because of an injury sustained in one of these performances. And for what?

Well... Christ!(is that allowed or is it too blasphemus?)
Leo, you're only saying that coz Ramps didn't make the team.
Re: T20 Cricket: some thoughts.
Ramps playing 20/20 would just be sacrilege. What scope for the graceful shouldering of arms, the classical forward defence, and the perfectly timed evasion of bouncers?

Are we allowed to say Ramps here?

As opposed to missing a Test series because of playing 50+ JAMODI's a year, or becoming a trundler to cope with the workload.
Re: T20 Cricket: some thoughts.
Excellent point Gary; far too many 50 over ODIs are being played as well.

Only for the next 10 minutes as he unleashes his pearls of wisdom to the equally stoopid ex Slurreyite Ward - both trying desperately to look intelligent - on Sky right now, between innings.

That would be the ones tac. Use a "0" instead of a "o" perhaps. Or some of the amusing substitutes LP has used ealrier in the history of this short lived forum. I don't think our French hosts will get those nouns mixed up with a rooster.tac wrote:Probably c*ck and c*ckjuggler are the "nouns" skully is refering to, but they ain't that bad, are they?
I don't GAF but mebee the hosts will. I have images of Dello logging on and going "WTF, ya stoopid bunch of c0ckjanglers, what the hell are you playing at? That's it, I'm outta here."

So inserting substitute "letters" to form an abusive word is acceptable ?Despite the word being clearly recognized ?
Odd, I thought insertions were to disguise the word in order to avoid the C4 trapdoor that flagged the post as being unacceptable??
So what's the difference - purely as an example of course - between
cock ..... and c0ck ???

Didn't he learn his stoopidity at Middles#x here.
Trying to be careful.

Re: T20 Cricket: some thoughts.
The ancient french sport of c0ckjuggling. Its all about getting a firm grip on the base of the animal, if you only catch the wings then there'll be feathers everywhere. Some expert c0ckjugglers can manage 3 or 4 roosters all at the same time.

PS Is "bit" permitted?.

[sigh] Keep going Merls. I'm doin' my best and you are testing the hosts friendship. Stick some asterisks in there man but just at least try to show some modicum of "Oh, I understand that I can't say these things". Dude, don't sh!t in the nest.

Not really, the old SA board used to moderate Middlesex, Sussex etc. Mynah would remember that.
