Jebezus ... how embarrasing for the nasal ones in yellow when England dump on them.

Flintoff 5fer off his first 2 overs.

Ponting's head explodes due to the frustration of Matty Hayden Crabbing into the 18th over.

If we beat the Aussies, Paksters and Lankans have free ride into the semis as they'll have both 'minnow' teams in their 2nd round group.

Bangladesh can play this form of the game though. They've had a lot more practice than most as they seem to approach most 50 over games as if they've only got 20 overs to bat for.

TBF you'd have to include Test matches as well as the 50 over stuff.

It would be good if the Aussies lose tomorrow . . . gets them back home early to prepare for the season ahead, and gives the Zimbots a bit of a lift . . .

So what's the general opinion about team selection for this game?

I presume most people here would want Snape to replace Schofield, but that's not going to happen. But Kirtley to replace Anderson? Is Broad safe? Will Maddy and Wright get another chance?

I can't imagine the Aussies leaving out Hogg again, but who should he replace? Johnson? Clark?

Are Clarke and Watson going to be available? Will Hodge get dropped after being the best Aussie batsman against Zimboks?

If I was England, I'd put the chucker in for Djimi. Nothing else(bar the Snape/Phillip change which Sidders mentioned). If I were Aus, I'd drop Bung and Johnson for Hogg and Hilfenhaus. We're crap versus Hogg and Hilfenhaus is clearly better than Johnson. Batting line-ups the same....

Yeah i was shocked that Aus didn't play Hogg. Not only because i had him in my fantasy team but because he'd have probably done better then Bung.

If it p*ss*s down all day and the match is abandoned, we could be generous and give Oz our 1 point in addition to their own and they will still be going home tonight. That's a nice thought.

But as it is, Hogg....we're farked.
