Amusing to read Raffa's comments about Drogba and his "diving" ... when he's got the
perfect exhibitionist of such performances captaining his Liverpool team.
Matchstick-leg Gerrard's "falls" ought to be videoed and used as a coaching manual for wannabe cheats!
Especially his painful facial expressions from prostrate positions!

Gerrard is one of the worst. But the commentators never call him on it. They call it 'clever play' or 'intelligent football'.

Great pass from Super Frank to put Drogba through. Most of you will just pretend it didn't happen at the end of the game though like you usually do. You'll wipe your spittle on your shirts and mumble "was Frank even on the pitch" like the blind mentalists you all are.

Cyclops - I can't be arsed to talk in circles with a one-eye. If you think about it and have ever played football before, you might work out why the possession stats are like that.

And ANOTHER superb pass from Lampard to put Kalou through leads to the goal. What a f*cking legend. He's bossing the midfield.

Great, great player.

Equation hasn't really changed for Liverpool - they still need to score.

My 1-1 tip is still on.

What are your thoughts on Kalou, Dello? He's pretty inconsistent but he strikes me as a player who could be really excellent.

If you repeat it enough times every time he plays you have to get lucky sometimes Wink

1-0 fair score, although Torres had that decent chance.

Don't fancy him much. What is he? As a winger, he can't really cross, doesn't run at full backs enough. As a striker, he's not a great finisher, doesn't have much of a presence.

But he is quick.

Good sub, I reckon.

Chelski/United would make a better final I think. United have the hex over Liverpool too much to make it a close final...

There, that's the scousers through then...

He's the kind of player that Wenger and the Arsenal system would turn into a class act in my opinion.

It'll be interesting if this goes to penalties. Cech's a far better keeper than Reina but Reina's probably a better penalty saver.

Fancy the Scouse to do this now, Chelski look a little knackered - need to get rid of Ballack and push Essien into midfield. i'd even get Sheva on too

Controversial! Was that offside???? There was a player just in front of the keeper but come on!! Seems extremely harsh. There was no way Reina was saving that even if the Chelsea player wasn't there.

Now a penalty!!!!!!!!!!

I fancy Liverpool to pour forward and eventually equalise and go through. You heard it here first.

Benitez has taken Torres off for some crazy reason.

Chelski looked gone for all money at FT.

Played Frank.

Why take Torres off?

Chelsea deserve this. They dominated the first half thanks to Lampard and Drogba and have turned it on like nobody's business in extra time. The Essien goal should have stood so it could have been 4-1.

Liverpool can have no complaints.

That was poor poor poor from Cech. Should have saved that.
