Shouldn't the bowlers practice bowling it where they want it to go every day in the nets...?
Well, the pacers would normally target just outsude off-stump line, and they'd have a batsman in front of them most times.
Silly me, presuming an international class bowler couldn't adjust his line from outside off to middle.

You'd normaly expect intl. class footballers to hit the target in a penalty shoot-out as well. Doesn't always happen.

Hmmm, how diplomatic was that tie and how bewacoof are Pakistani bowlers, can't see the stumps for jelly beans!
Well done India, sounds like it was a good fun match (missed it for dinner and 'Run Fatboy Run' at the cinema)

I remember once seeing Curtly Ambrose bowl at Michael Vaughan. Curtly had spotted a patch on the pitch with a crack he liked the look of, and right in Vaughan's eye-line stood over it pointing with his long, blinged-up right arm and a sadistic grin.
After the end of his next over they should a montage of Curtly's six deliveries. The first five all landed exactly on that spot, inch perfect. The sixth was about half a foot short of it. That's bowling. Do you reckon he could hit a set of unguarded stumps? It would just be a matter of what inch of which stump he wanted to hit.
These so-called professional bowlers who send batsmen up to do their job should be ashamed of themselves.

Mainly only England footballers, and then usually just David Beckham and that's because he has a heart the size of a pea.
If they had an open goal, like the cricketers do though, I might even back England to get 5 out of 5...

Whoever invented the 'bowl-out' for this Cup needs tea-bag torturing Bewacoof (useless) Pak non-bowl-outers!

The "bowl out" isn't a new concept. It's been around in county cricket limited overs stuff for a while.
Just rarely seen.

this isnt the first int'l 20-20 bowl out, NZ and WI had one a couple of years back.
what a game though, i doubt it will be topped in this tournament. something about india v pakistan in world cups held in SA
P.S please please please get rid of agarkar. his fragility under pressure almost cost us the match today. a new kid like sreesanth was able to hold his nerve at the end (and for the run out) and this guy has almost 10 yrs of int'l experience - GET RID!

What a game, we should have won though suprised with Misbah he did prove me wrong, i think the wheels came off our innings when Akmal got run out, what a stupid mix up.
Great opening spell by Asif though.

Re: India v Pakistan, T20 WC, Durban, 14th September
It's been a fantastic Twenty20 match. The pitch wasn't your usual
featherbed and it had plenty for the bowlers. Mohammad Asif, the Man of the Match,
was splendid and his 4 for 18 rattled the Indian top-order. Uthappa
scored a plucky half-century and a late flourish from Pathan and Dhoni
took India to 141 for 9.
Pakistan's chase started well but soon went off the rails and when
Afridi was dismissed it looked like India had the match wrapped up.
Irfan Pathan took 2 for 20 in his comeback match and Harbhajan bowled
an excellent spell as well until his final over. Arafat and Misbah,
however, hammered boundaries at will during the last three overs but
couldn't score 1 off the last two balls. The match ended in a tie after
Misbah was run-out and then India prevailed 3-0 in a bowl-out.

What an amazing match. I can't believe not a single Pakistani hit the stumps, I was sure Afridi would hit.

You do know "tea-bagging" has more than one meaning...?

Sorry? I am referring to the tie-ing up of the Pak players, in their crisp white shulvar kumise and catapulting wet, used Lipton's tea bags at them. Not interested in any other meaning, thanks.
