WI v Australia, 2nd Test, North Sound, 30th May-3rd June
North Sound? Is that Antigua? I just copied it out of cricinfo - that's what they're calling it...

Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound.
No idea what that means.

Probably that the Northern side of the stadium is structurally sound, but the rest is a work in progress - best take your hard hat.
Re: WI v Australia, 2nd Test, North Sound, 30th May-3rd June
It'd be nothing like a fart sound, I'm guessing.

Windies squad has just been announced:
Jaggers has been dropped, as has Ryan Hinds. Chattergoon is still injured. Gayle will definitely be playing, and Taylor is 95% fit apparently. Xavier Marshall has been called up to fight for the opening position with Parchment and Smith in yet another 'gut feeling' selection
Our selectors really are a joke. Dyson says that he wanted Jaggers in a 15 man squad but the WICB demanded that it be cut to 14.
Squad: Sulieman Benn, Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Fidel Edwards, Chris Gayle, Xavier Marshall, Runako Morton, Brenton Parchment, Daren Powell, Denesh Ramdin, Darren Sammy, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Devon Smith, Jerome Taylor.

Maybe the stadium is close to this- In geography a sound or seaway is a large sea or ocean inlet larger than a bay, deeper than a bight, wider than a fjord, or it may identify a narrow sea or ocean channel between two bodies of land (see also strait).

Something about you being in dire straits, but $od that.
Congratulations on the first Test. I see that the cheating Australians led by that rat 'Skunting' have managed to bully the umpires into yet another victory.

Yep, I'd imagine both umpires to be sacked and the Windies to have a chartered plane on standby unless they are . . .

They would, but WICB doesn't have the money to charter a chartered taxi, far less a chartered plane.

Flintoff junked the only pedalo WICB owned. So it's 3 sea kayaks really.

Well hopefully it won't be an all NSW affair for much longer.

Re: WI v Australia, 2nd Test, North Sound, 30th May-3rd June
Aus would be better off dropping MacGill and using Clarke and Symonds as the spinners. MacGill's strength is meant to be taking wickets, but in his last 3 tests, he's taken a combined total of about 5, and at least 3 of them have been tailenders.
In fact the only wicket he has taken of late that has genuinely been as a result of his skill was his 200th test wicket in Brisbane when he bowled Vandort with a big turner. The rest has been batsmen (Mostly tailenders) getting out to him slogging, or getting poor umpiring decisions.
