I wouldn't mind having that pace line-up playing for my team. Always thought Fidel was class. He's slowly giving a few returns now. Personally I'd stick in another opener in there in place of Morton, and play Gayle at 5.

Yes he's been very good in the IPL. And should get a shot at opening in the ODIs.

But he should have more than one good FC season before even being considered for the Test team.

But, as I said, being in the squad is not the same as being in the team. He's a better option than Podge for ODIs; no-one with a working brain could deny that.

He still needs to prove that he has grown up and can transfer his T20 form to FC. Show that and he should be next in line for the Test team. We need new blood.
