Huzzah, 3 points in the bag (1-0). Mark Schwarzer had a blinder in goal, saving two one-on-ones from point blank. Australia probably lucky to get away with the points but that's 6 consecutive clean-sheets and 37 home games unbeaten.

Re: World Cup Qualifier
And after scoring the winning goal, did Harry the K actually finish a football match still fit and with a reasonable idea when he'll be able to play another one, for the first time since about 1959?

Re: World Cup Qualifier
Kewell was linked with Hull City very briefly, would be a good signing for us I think and a slight possibility with Liverpool wanting to get rid but I doubt we could meet his wage demands.

I thought Celtic was his likely target. Sort of a reverse Viduka.

He has remarkable ball skills. Just such a shame he is so shockingly injury-prone.

Fair do's JKL. If I was a Scouser, I guess I'd be pretty shat off with the number of appearances he made in the red shirt.

Ah yes sorry, I forget if he'd lived in Aus for most of his life he'd have reached the heights most Australian footballers do

I'd have thought the lovely camp outfits of the AFL would be more down Kewells street!

Actually if I remember, if he'd stayed in Oz there's a fair chance he'd have played cricket.

Re: World Cup Qualifier
The best thing that happened to Harry Kewell was moving to England. He's chopped a few fit northern celebs and has married a horndog. Furthermore, he's a rich man who probably wouldn't have been had he lived in Aus.
Re: World Cup Qualifier
Erm, I don't see anyone arguing with that stellar logic Dan. What's your point? All good Aussie players move to Europe.
