Who is test cricket's worst umpire?

I voted for Russell Tiffin followed with options six and seven tying for second....

It's a bit depressing that there are so many genuine options to chose from. I forgot to add Darryl Harper to the list.

Meh. They are all pretty bad. I would say only Taufel, Dar and Bowden make consistently the right decision.

Those of you who watched the IPL may remember a match where Tiffin twice in two overs signalled six when both times the batsmen had hit one bounce fours, and he was embarrasingly forced to correct his decisions both times by the third umpire.

Wasn't Tiffin dumped from international cricket a few years back for being so crap? What's changed? Has he been assessed in Zimbabwean domestic cricket? As if. He probably hasn't even umpired any Zimbabwean domestic cricket in the last few years.

And he was even more annoying in the way that he waved away plumb lbw shouts as if the bowler was a fool for even appealing. Then the replay would show it to be plumb and you could see him swallowing.....

And he has a silly Saffie fat man moustache.

I always used to think Steve Bucknor was a good umpire. He seems to have lost it in the last eighteen months or so, as I see it, during and after the Oval fiasco. I don't think Koertzen is really deserving of a place, or a vote, in this poll, when Asoka de Silva has just been re-appointed to the Elite Panel. That guy is probably the worst of the lot. Jerling seems a bit crap to me too.

Ashoka is to crap umpiring as Bradman is to batsmanship. Everyone knows they're so much above the rest, it's not even worth putting them in a poll.

Koertzen doesn't deserve a place?! I'm mortally offended. He pioneered sh*t umpiring.
