Benson should be added to the list now. Pretty poor. I actually used to think he was decent, but he's had a shocker in 2008 so far. In fact, most of the umpiring in 2008 has been pretty awful. Even Taufel hasn't been at his best.

I used to be 50-50 as far as bringing in technology is concerned, but now I think that the referral system should be brought in quick smart, before Andrew Symonds' batting average is allowed to reach 50......

Are there any decent ones these days?

We do still see howlers. Do we see as many as we did, pre-DRS?

I think the howlers these days are when DRS is used and they still don't make the right decision. I was watching highlights of the 2013 Ashes series and I forget which Test it was but one of the Aussie left handers (Khawaja I think) is facing Swann and clearly doens't edge the ball and is given out. I think the original decision was not out as well which makes it even worse but I could be wrong about that. Makes the Broad decision look good.

Kumar Dharmasena. I staring at the scorecard for that Test (3rd one at Old Trafford) and really can't remember it. I think I switched off after the second Test for that series
