Re: Most consecutive series wins
Don't think Lee can ever bowl like Gillespie did in that series who bowled like a dream in that series so much so that he even managed to upstage McGrath. Now that says something.Equal, based on Gillespie's 2004 form and Lee's current form
His bowling (as well as his heroic batting in Chennai) was one of the main reason why Aussies could win in India after a gap of more than 35 years. Of course, Martyn and Clarke's form were the other significant reasons.

The biggest factor is that we aren't close to being as strong at home as we once were.

India haven't exactly been bad at home of late. The pitches have just been too flat to force results a lot of the time.

This will be the first series in what 13-14 years where AUS will walk in as the underdogs.

Why will they walk in as "the underdogs"?

Sorry, scrap my last post, for some reason I thought PP was talking about the Champions trophy.

Re: Most consecutive series wins
the windies went more series and years without a loss. the aussies are certainly the more attractive side to watch, if you ignore the non-cricketing issues

Re: Most consecutive series wins
but the windies had quite a few more drawn series and tests iirc. odi wins, odi series wins, test wins and test series wins....this aussie team holds most if not all those records
