What are the odds on Matt Prior scoring 15 off 20 balls before holing out to mid on? Get Fred up there opening. Wont happen, though. What with Moores getting polished nicely by the bald headed one every night.....

Just as well it's a 20/20 game - that pitch won't last much longer than that!

The Cape Town outfied makes every lofted shot react like a Tiger Woods sand wedge from 80 yards.

The useless tosser actually wins the toss (FFS) and we are bowling so will be chasing 410 under lights.......FFS!
We are farked. (But probably not as farked as if we were batting first.)

Meanwhile in Aus they're showing a replay of England getting hammered in the Ashes series just to get me in the mood....

Aye, not the most sensible choice methinks.

Not sure we actually have a 'strategy' either way!!
We've obviously decided Maddy & Kirtley aren't up to it

I think chasing is better for England in this form of the game. At least the likes of Prior will know how aggresive they have to be.

At least fielding 2nd you have 2 shots at the game I suppose.
Though not if they cream us for 220

Ooh, a spicy start as Collingwood and Smith exchange not handshakes, but frosty looks at the toss. Go Colly you little battler.

TBH, even though chasing under lights isn't great, we are so carp at setting a target (not so dissimilar to many other teams) that it is probably best to have the other team set the target so we know how to pace the innings.

Naz likes The Useless Tosser's decision of bowling first, not least because it is what Captain Fantastic wouldn't have wanted.
Whoops, Broad getting a bit of tap.

Flintff is just such an amazing bowler. Even with an obviously painful front ankle, he is almost faultless in his L&L and at pace. If he really is almost over as a bowler it is nothing short of a cricket tragedy.
