Why people are so surprised that sides collapse suddenly when chasing 10+ an over? :grat:
Even with the majority of wickets left to fall i'd back the side defending 10 an over with 10 overs left...

Not surprised, merely drawing comparisons.JKLever wrote:doctorspin wrote:Sri Lanka "Doing An England" here.

Yes, but when it's Lanka doing the chasing and Pakistan the defending, normally you wouldn't bet on the latter, not even me!

Dilhara Fernando produced one of the outstanding new-ball spells of the
tournament, but magnificent half-centuries from Shoaib Malik, Pakistan captain, and Younis Khan propelled Pakistan to a formidable total of 189 for 6 under the lights at the Wanderers. Sanath Jayasuriya conceded a whopping 64 from his four overs - equalling the most expensive in Twenty20 internationals - while Gayan Wijekoon and Lasith Malinga also went for plenty, though Malinga had the consolation of three wickets.

Well played Pak. Extremely well played. I think they've enough firepower to test the Aussies today.
Should be the match of this tournament after Ind-Pak one.

Idiot Mahela had a brain meltdown! welldone to Pak anyway but Mahela should've batted first knowing that batting under floodlights on a chase is harder! prefer to chase bulshit! play with the conditions man! Nevermind, it is probably going to be early curatins anyway.

Just a shame that I didn't predict England could collapse that badly. Could've made a packet from about the 10th over.
Sh!thouse fist-f*cking.
