Yeah, not a bad parallel to draw. Think Wright has more flair about him though and probably more natural ability. ATM though, Napier looks like the batsman of the two. And the bowler.

Napier has been punted up and down the order for most of his career. Mainly been used 7,8, and even 9 at times.

Bowling is nothing to write home about but very useful at one dayers - short skiddy - don't think he's lost pace, always been around 85mph.

A list A batting average of 16 is a massive underachievement. His bowling stats are very good, however. Always seems to take wickets, even is he's not always economical.

His time has probably passed, mind.....

I don't reckon you can get much higher when consistently coming in with 5 or 6 overs to go...

I saw some highlights and quite liked the look of the boy Chambers. Nice high arm in delivery, bit of hustle.

Be nice if Essex gave him a run in proper cricket during the second half of the season.

Yeah, his action is pretty good. Skiddy, as I said as well - though again, I was disappointed about his pace. Not that I think bowlers need pace. Just that it's another bullshit story about a 'young 90MPH bowler'.

Not sure Chambers has ever been called a 90mph bowler. Still got the Jamaican twang...

Lancs battling with Notts.

Slight edge to Lancs perhaps. Notts need 44 off 4, 4 wkts left.

Cork bowls Ealham. Notts in trouble now.

Probably need a few heaves from Andre A.

WTF happened??!

Seriously... when I read crocinfo it stated : Hants 164 / 20. Essex 158 / 20 ...

Beg pardon and mea culpa JK ...
So now looks like the Chavs only have to tie or win their last game to make runner-up spot.

Winner takes all in the Esx/Hants return game at Chelmsford. The loser might even sneak 3rd place if Kent continue to slide
