Didin't say there was anything wrong with the process, just that it's convoluted. I suppose, given that plenty of cricketers have found ways to weasel out of the consequences of their actions in many areas, it has to be.

It's Asif, thinking it was Shoiab when hints were being dropped in media.

More than likely it will be one of the unknown Indian players who perhaps wouldn't have been as aware about the random drug testing procedrues as the international stars.

Internal reports place it as Mohd. Asif again.

The report on wozzie radio was that they didn't know who the player was ....but the strong rumour was a South Asian bowler ...

SRT did recover pretty quickly in order to be able to play though.

twas a bit obvious once he was caught in dubai. the ipl of course wont be as lenient as the pcb. wonder how the rules are if someone is caught in a domestic tournament. does he get an international ban then?
