I notice Smith's run away home early because he doesn't want to go home with the rest of the team when hard questions will be asked. He's skulking out of England embarrassed.

SA won their first test series in England for 43 years. That's hardly cause for embarrasment.

Say it wasn't going to be rained off, would there be any point in playing the same team? We've rarely had the luxury of such a dead rubber - the least we could do is shift the personnel.
Re: England v South Africa, 5th ODI, Cardiff, Sep 3rd
The Proteas were greeted by grey skies and more bucketing sheets of rain. I guess the one compensation for them will be to go home to a summer even though they're just coming out of winter. I notice they had glorious sunshine in Joburg for the rugby.
That's the only downside for KP in terms of his defection, putting up with endless charcoal skies and darkness mid-afternoon in winter. No wonder he's often talking about missing the animals, weather and the beaches of SA.

FFS Don't you ever give up?
We love our charcoal skies and dark mid afternoons -
Fark the animals and the beaches ... you can keep 'em all ...
these are perfect reasons for staying indoors for indulging in
some welcome foreplay in front of a warm log fire before
plenty of uninhibited sex .... whilst it pours with rain outdoors.
Perhaps as this might sound an alien occurance to you, you could
go grab a swim under the hot sun and trot off to feed the roos later!

Don't think that's KP's style though mate.
They're out to bag a 5 - 0 drubbing of the Saffers -
and hurt them whilst they're down and out.
Small consolation for the Test series loss ... but consolation nonetheless.
And the hike to ~2 in the ODI rankings.

In Redeye's case, it's definitely masking some serious sexual frustration.

Well Rob is certainly a poor representation of an Aussie woman. Could you imagine living with that?
