The most interesting thing to see will be if Shane Watson can get through the game uninjured. I don't like his chances, and history is definetly against him.

Tuned in to the 2nd ODI for a bit.
O'Donnell started spouting 'Geez us Aussies are quite good y'know.....'

Nice to see the Kid looking to give the 4000 their money's worth. At least they might see 75 overs worth of cricket instead of 40.
And the Kid might scratch up some runs.

And the Aussies are NOT giving the 4000 their money's worth. Very crabby effort to date.
Bangers bowling well but Watto and the Kid looked in very scratchy touch. But they are both run out now (after Watson was inexplicably given not out to the plumbest lbw) so maybe the Sluts can get things moving.
3-87 in 26th.

3 run outs FFS. 4-129 in 40th over. Be lucky to make 200. Very lethagic effort.

Totally frustrating effort by Aus. Excellent disciplined bowling by the Bangers on a slow wicket but the approach of the early batsmen was woeful.
Watson and Clarke looked like they were treating the innings as batting practice (and they probably were), letting 3 deliveries an over go thorugh to the keeper. 4 batsmen crabbed, wasted deliveries then got out carelessly. And it was left up to Paris as usual to be the backbone of the innings.
10 fours and 2 sixes. Wonderful "entertainment". Barely a decent T20 score these days.
If ever the Bangers are gonna knock us over, it's today.

Midge doing his best to give this one to the Bangles - 3 overs for 27 runs.

Tamim giving some cheek. He thinks he's Mudge and is blowing kisses at Watto.
He's batting well (even though Watto inexplicably lost control of a catch at third man). Good stuff from the 19 year old.

All over. Deary me, from 3-82 and looking a good chance, to 8-103 in a blink.
Still, their bowling was good and Tamim looks a prospect.
Ashraful should hang his head. For the best Banger batsman, he has a ridiculously cavalier attitude.

Beats net practice, Nath.
And I remain totally frustrated at ShyTYT's lack of ability to engender faith in his bowling. He bats well and looks as solid as a rock at first slip. If he could just become a FC bowler, damn he'd be useful at no. 7 or 8 for Aus.

But his bowling seems to be going backwards. He doesn't even bowl himself when he's the Vomit skipper FFS.

More evidence today that the Bangers don't deserve to play the top teams. Even when their bowling appears to be competitive and their fielders hit the stumps seemingly every time they aim at them, their batsmen implode to levels even that surpass some of their worst slumps. No wonder there were so many empty seats.
