Re: Squad for Aussie tour of India
I think this is a good Australian squad. Apart from 4 players, everyone will play his first test in India, if given a chance. But debutants have always excelled against India and that should be no trouble.
McGain's selection is a bit surprising but he had the India A batsmen in trouble on a difficult pitch which was offereing grip. So if India prepares turning tracks (which I highly doubt) than he will be handy.

If this were to happen, Fleas would just about have to be the first man to be dropped twice from a Test side after scoring a ton.
look at his average average, his failures under pressure and all those dropped catches
Who is NSP?

Well I hope Krejza does not get near the team. And I think McGain would do an OK job. Casson should have been in though.
But we won last time when our quicks did most of the winning for us. And I think our batting is stronger. Whereas I think India are a worse team overall than they were last time.
So I don't know why everyone is so doom and gloom. We have as good of a chance as we ever have.

Re: Squad for Aussie tour of India
Well, we don't have to win it. I think we may be able to sneak a win if fair wickets are presented, but if Bhajji and Jumbo friendly crumblies are served up, we don't have the artillery to match them in the spin dept.PearlJ wrote:skully wrote:Far cough. dori is the "dooooooooooooooomed" merchant.
