I think when he was in his very early days as a raw Narramine quick he could crank it up to 140 but probaby around the 135 mark was his stock delivery.
I found it rather interesting that in the last few years of his career he struggled to get out of the 120 sort of area but his accuracy and perhaps reputation meant he was still rarely targeted by the opposition.

When I used to play him in Narromine he was quite sharp . . . but not as quick as big Merv . . .

Fastest Pidge ever bowled was he nudged 90 mph or just under 145 kph (according to the speed gun) v WI at the 1999 WC. He really stepped up for us after our woeful start to that campaign. What.a.legend.
He was always more about awkward bounce on a nagging length with a bit of nip off the wicket, in the mid to high 130 kph range.
