Top 3 most promising young fast bowlers from your country
Leaving out Gul and Asif i would say
1- M Aamer- Offical age 16 but his real age is about 18
Can crank it up at close to 90 mph which can be quite difficult to face considering his natural left arm angle. Massively talented but quite injury prone and has already suffered from stress fractures.
2- M Talha- age 20
Can bowl at OVER 90 mph and is quite tall so will generate extra bounce. After fixing his run up i am sure he can easily generate top speed of over 150 KPH
3- Sohail Khan- age 24
Perhaps not as gifted as Talha or Aamer but can still reverse swing the ball at over 90 mph/
Unfortunately there is no young fast bowler who is currently bowling at 150+ KPH but there are at least 4 or 5 who can bowl at over 90mph so i am hoping at least ONE of them ends up becoming a great fast bowler.

Ah yes, I couldn't remember his name. Woakes. I was gonna put him instead of Jordan.

Wouldn't include Jordan because, without his batting, he isn't one of the most promising...
No-one up for Stuart '96' Meaker?
Re: Top 3 most promising young fast bowlers from your country
Stuart 'I bowled one ball that hit 96mph but otherwise I'm regular mid 80's' Meaker?
Meh...

If Surrey give Meaker more than 1 game this season then yes.

He just needs to learn to eat his Crunchy Nut Cornflakes in the morning.
Mid 80's? Heard Woakes dreams of that pace.
Not that it matters.

Indeed. When he was playing for Eng U19's he was decidedly mid 70's pap, but last year was bowling 81-2 mph. Room to improve
As you say though, not that it matters. Meaker would kill for 49 FC wickets @ 22

Yeah. I'm just wary of these Ealham type dobbers who'll be successful here and NZ only.
Re: Top 3 most promising young fast bowlers from your country
Woakes has a bit of height though, no? Same with the Plunkett lookalike Danny Evans from Middlesex. He's not the worst prospect going around.

Kemar Roach - Very Fast most of the time, but more importantly he swings the new ball and the old ball both ways.
Jason Dawes - 19 year old Jamaican who is pacey without being express yet. He attacks the stumps and can move the ball about a bit too. Due to make his FC debut this year.
Nelson Pascal - 21 year old Grenadian Fast bowler who can definitely bowl at 90mph plus. He has a reputation for hitting batsman with bouncers quite regularly as he always directs his bouncers well. He needs to learn to pitch the ball up more if he is to earn a test match selection.

WIFAN, with all these young guys who can bowl pretty quick in the Windies (Rampaul is another one), why the hell are they picking medium pace no hopers like Lionel Baker?

I think they thought Baker would prove effective in NZ conditions. Of course, we have mostly been playing on pretty flat pitches and so it hasn't really worked.
Roach was on tour but he wasn't picked because he is struggling slightly with his run up and bowling a few no-balls. Hopefully some FC cricket will sort that out.

Left armer Pradeep Sangwan. He and Tim Southee were the top fast bowlers at the last under 19s world cup.
