Will Kumble do a Vaughan? Empty Will Kumble do a Vaughan?

He's looked terrible with the ball in both innings, he has a dodgy shoulder which meant the Indian attack was confined to three regular bowlers for the first part of this innings, his captaincy is pedestrian, he dropped himself down the batting order. The batting seems to have picked up from the minute he entered the attack.

He is a liability.

Sad but true.

Who would be captain?

Der! Of course.

That could help Dhoni actually - it might result in him fighting a bit harder for his wicket in tests.

Jumbo's 0-150 is pretty sad in this Test, but I'll happily accept it!! Smile

The radio crew were speculating about Kumble doing a MacGill and retiring mid-series. Especially if his shoulder is as stuffed as some people seem to think.

The England series is not far away... if ever you wanted to finish your career with a couple of cheap 5-fers...

one would hope so. preferably at the end of this test. a main bowler being not good enough when you have an attack of 4 is just too big a liability. and his captaincy is hardly inspiring either, the contrast with dhoni's captaincy before kumble came back was quite striking
