Surprisingly intense effort by the Aussies given most haven't played for 6 or more weeks.
Steve Matai will get 2 games for his high shot on Gallen.

Matai putting a high shot on Gallen - I don't see any losers in that encounter.

Did you see the Haka v Corroboree in the Moari v Indig match?
I really thought one of the Maori players might get a spear in the throat at one stage.

Funniest thing I've seen in a while. They ran out of space between them and for a minute I thought it was going to be all in.
Brilliant effort by Australia. WTF was Gallen doing in the team anyway? He cost us penalties against Qld with his stupid play.

Gallen is a grub and sullies the Australian jersey by wearing it.
But I doubt he's going anywhere with Ricky Stuart in charge of the team.

As mentioned, if the useless Matai had done his job properly, both would be out of the remainder of the tournament.

Aye. And his p!ss weak lack of attempted tackle on Manu as he stepped back inside gifted the Kiwis their only try.Hass wrote:Gallen is a grub and sullies the Australian jersey by wearing it.

Billy Slater has finally been warned that he will be suspended if he continues to dive through the air feet first.
It's a dangerous practice that should have been stamped out years ago. Can't believe it's only been looked at now.

Farkin bahhhhhhh. It's no worse than a soccer tackle. Billy does a great job of sliding across to get his feet under the ball as the prospective try scorer attempts to ground the ball. Farkin sook of a threatened ruling. He's not going in studs up. He's trying to get the instep under the ball.
