Rugby League 2022
Bulldogs sign Kikau. Thankfully the Dragons were outbid, along with the Cows.

It appears footballers never grow a brain, even in retirement.
Former Raiders, R00ters, Eels and Storm player Brett Finch has been charged with being involved in a child abuse texting group.
Dear God, the stoopidity of footy players (current and ex) knows no bounds.

My brother was on air at SEN today and had to read out the stations formal comment to Finch's charges given Finch is a regular on that network.

Re: Rugby League 2022
A few days old news now but confirms the dillberry nature of Rugby League players.
Blake Ferguson failed to pick up an NRL spot for the upcoming season so headed to Japan to play Rugby.
He has now been sacked by the team that signed him (NEC Green Rockets) after Japanese Police found cocaine on him after an altercation in a restaurant. It could cost him jail time.
"In just 10 words, the NEC Green Rockets, who have former Wallabies coach Michael Cheika as their director of rugby, updated their statement and confirmed Ferguson had been sacked.
“Regarding Ferguson, the player contract was cancelled on January 2nd,” the club confirmed in a statement on January 3."
-------------------------------------
Always was a farkwit.
No doubt he has gambled away or pissed up the wall all the money he earned playing the game. He'll be next sighted on the back of garbage truck.

Re: Rugby League 2022
2022 season kicks off tonight at Penrith with the defending Premiers playing the Coastal Filth.
Probably Manly's best chance to knock over Penrith, as Nathan Cleary is about 4 games away from fully recovering from an off-season shoulder op.
Game begins at 8.00 pm.

Panthers too fit and fast for the Coastal Filth.
Cleary's understudy O'Sullivan looks a future star.
Choccies will be hard to beat again this year.

Nags start the season with a scrappy 11-4 win over the Bunnies.
Plenty of rust in both sides.

Re: Rugby League 2022
Storm could put 30+ on the Bunnies tonight. 14-0 at Oranges.
The Rabbits look a shell of the side from last year without Reynolds. Totally disorganised.

Re: Rugby League 2022
Welly well. After being shit for 3/4 of the game, the Bunnies came from the clouds to get back to 12-14 (Latrell missed 3 conversion attempts) with seconds still on the clock.
They then worked the ball from the kick off to just in the Storm half, from where Latrell kicked a magnificent 2 point field goal to tie it up.
Momentum was with Souths but the extra time toss went to the Storm and they did enough to get within field goal range quickly in ET. Papenhuysen got the ball, feigned to kick, jinked and then slotted the winning FG.
Funny game.

Stoopid Dragons.
Pushed the Panthers (20-16) even though they had 3 sin bins.
As always discipline it's the Drags achilles.

Meanwhile, the R00ters have put 22 on the Coastal Filth before HT.
