Latest episode of WICB madness: Ramdin named VC of ODI squad

He couldn't even get in our last ODI squad, but now he is back as vice captain instead of Ronnie Sarwan.

What the hell is going on? Our selectors are so muddled in their thinking.

The ODI/20-20 squad for NZ is as follows:

Xavier Marshall, Chris Gayle (capt), Ramnaresh Sarwan, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Kieron Pollard, Shawn Findlay, Denesh Ramdin (wk), Carlton Baugh (wk), Fidel Edwards, Brendan Nash, Nikita Miller, Daren Powell, Jerome Taylor, Lionel Baker, Sulieman Benn (only for the Twenty20 internationals).

Since PAK don't play test cricket any more i have decided to become a 100% WI supporter

So when do "we" play next?

Well we are playing a warm up match against Auckland starting today.

The 1st test starts in a week.

This is going to be really poor quality stuff, so I wouldn't bother.

Btw we are playing Fidel Edwards, Kemar Roach and Lionel Baker in our warmup match.

Lionel Baker seemed quite slow though...

He is not as quick as Taylor, Edwards, Roach or Powell, but he is nippyish most of the time.

He seemed to be bowling well within himself in Abu Dubai.

So one late night too many for Sarwan? I can't believe they dumped him as vice captain for a tactical reason. Isn't it the captain who is meant to be held accountable for a defeat?

Sarwan made a big 100 today
