Moaning with pleasure. Don't be a hater just because you have no sensation in your fiddly bits.

It's all about context, don't you know, JD.Dello wrote:skully wrote:Dat be JD, who was giving me an almighty lecture about my obnoxious behaviour and how is was killing the joint and stopping it being "warm and welcoming". I disagreed, saying the place had been quite healthy in recent months. That was JD's response.furriner wrote:skully wrote:Wot qunt bumped this??????
The-former-mod-who-can't-quite-let-go will be right shat off. Apparently it's all we ever do these days.Dello wrote:It's basically threasurrection on a massive scale.
Who dat?
Apparently we don't create anything new these days, just resurrect old threads. He's a right qunt, that lardy.
That's a pretty loose retelling of the tale. People can read, you know.

Let the baby have his bottle.
Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
Ooh look, the hardman waddles in to throw some lame insults. Now careful, or Dello will get all lectury on your arse for being a bully and being a very unwelcoming chappie, Dan. 4005

It's a valid saying isn't it? Ye were being deliberately obtuse, Dello was still trying to make you see sense --> let the baby have his bottle.
Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
Was there an initial insult from me to anyone? Would Dello be slighted in the slightest?
But feel free to lob the insults, Dan. IDGAS. Just clarifies your massive double standards. 4006

Huh? You've lost me. That's not really got too much to do with what I said.
Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
Righteo, Dan. Just thought you were doing your "riding in on your white horse and looking after your poor mates who can't defend themselves" impression. Forgive me if I have misconstrued. 4007

Yeah, you've misconstrued. No worries, no harm done.

Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
That was one excuse. But then when we moved to the FB1 a bunch of folks took on multiple IDs there too - in spite of the laughably lax moderation from the dipstick at the helm.
So I'd wager a touch of WUMing comes into the equation as well.

Not naming names. Mainly because I can't remember them all...

Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
I had an alternative moniker of 'I'm Wary Of Cheese Soups' but I think it's because Dello didn't accept me into the clique straightaway.
Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
I thought it was because you were genuinely wary of Fromage consomme

I am. Warier than a mouse on Sunday in regards to cheese soups. Will. Not. Touch. Them.
I just meant I thought he didn't want me on the forum (which he could tell by my other user name)

Lucky Pierre was no trouble. Relatively.
Mostly I didn't want anyone on the forum. This was all a huge mistake.

Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
Or One Large Cocoa Bean?
There was another one, too, which I forget.
Who was Plymlegend, who went on to have all the REM-related monikers? Never made it here AFAIK.
Not sure if THIS LINK has been posted in this thread before, but it goes to the origin of many IDs. Dello locked it when it got a bit norsty ...

Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
I'm not sure, racking my brains but I can't think of them now. Like what REM nicks?
Re: What was your username on the channel 4 cricket forum?
Orange Crush was one. There were others. I'll have to think about that ...
back to you for a minute:
"G-Man - for quite a while my real life nickname. Stopped seeing most people who called me it, sometimes I'm 'G'.
Gillux - another nickname
Ngam - Topical. A cricketer who's an anagram of g-man.
Batfink Returns - A mickey take of Batman on C4(good old Vikas)
Batfink Begins - A harp back to those days, fresh new forum akin to new director.
One Large Cocoa Bean - Pretty much meant 'sh!t'.
Brass Monkey - In a way Beastie Boys inspired, though I've always like the name.
Comical Smoking Monkey - Reminded me of the 'smoking is bad monkey' used in science class.
Lucky Pierre - Just found it funny the first I heard of it.
Sir Digby Chicken Caesar - Tribute to the hilarity of SDCC.
Spooky Fool - one woman's nickname for me.
Chicken Wings - coz me and a colleague thought it would be funny to share an ID. We were quite new. We were eating chicken wings at the time.
SpeedyBrettLee - coz me and a colleague thought it would be quite 'good' to defend poor old Brett from his compatriot's constant derision.
Im wary of Cheese soups - coz I'm damn f'kin wary of cheese soups.
Funky Gibbon - Just another simian theme.
Probably missed out sh!tloads. But who can be bothered"

Blimey - the end of that thread's all a bit deja vu from the past couple of days.
How depressing...
