Bump.
Billy's youngster played for Qld the other night. He looks bloody young so hard to get a real feel. He certainly seemed to be out of his depth in the first class level. Wasn't bowling too quick (125-130) but he was getting a bit of bounce. Quite a whipping action.

My secret wish is the bugger emigrates for good.
Although doubt he'd get a work permit, as I reckon the authorities in Oz would see through him as being carp!

Pomersbach got a fine of a match payment for missing a game for Gosnells on Saturday ....he had played in the Second XI game but was excused from the last day (Friday) to attend a friends funeral and wake ...he "thought" he also had permission to not play for Gosnells too ...
I reckon he's a young man just ripe for poaching by the dubbers ....and he'll score a mountain of runs

Sounds like a wozzie version of Jessie Ryder. A train wreck waiting to happen, unless straightened out early.embee wrote:Pomersbach got a fine of a match payment for missing a game for Gosnells on Saturday ....he had played in the Second XI game but was excused from the last day (Friday) to attend a friends funeral and wake ...he "thought" he also had permission to not play for Gosnells too ...

Brass bands, clowns, face painters and party whistles! All of this and more will be on offer to WACA Members, their Transferable Guest Card holders and visitors during the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash series!
Join our MC – Ryan ‘Cambo’ Campbell from Channel 10 – who will be conducting on Ground interviews with both teams. Our Ground Announcer, DJ Jon Lennon, will also be spinning some club style music and retro classic tunes at each change of over.
Apparently they also play some form of cricket in between the entertainment

Re: ***Official 08/09 Sheffield Shield comp***
So Dubbers need to beat the Vixen to go straight to the final with Qld to play Vic ni the semi.
If the Vixen beat the Dubbers then they go to the final with Qld to play Sozzies FFS in the semi for a spot in the final and the Champions League.
Obviously the Qlds will be rooting for Victoria.
What is going to happen is that Vic will beat NSW and Soz will fluke a win against Qld resulting in a national embarrassment when Soz are one of our Champs League reps.

Magnificent limited overs bowling in the T20 by Dirk Nannes who I have been a fan of for a year or so now (he took 4/11 off 4).
He HAS to be a better JAMDODI prospect than Ryan Harris FFS.

Re: ***Official 08/09 Sheffield Shield comp***
Well fark me if Victorian cricket hasn't just handed NSW cricket a cheque for a couple of hundred grand or more.
The mother of all chokes (they needed 25 off 30 with 6 wickets left) and NSW make it to the final of the T20 and qualify for the Champs League where their team could look something like:
Jaques
Hughes
Warner
Katich
Clarke
Haddin
Thornely
Hauritz
Lee
Bracken
Bollinger
Hard luck on Nannes who is going to lose after a 4/11 spell.

stoopid ****** Crossy.
Hope he's saved up a nice chunk of change to share with the rest of the team if we now miss out on the subi cash fest.
