only change was Bollinger in, IIRC.

Ian Chappell had Hughes, North, Krezja, Bollinger and Hilfenhaus in his XII.

Simon O'Donnell reckons he heard whispers that Bollinger is a cert for the XI.

I can live with Bolly, but think Hilf deserves it more.

maybe we should rest MJ and play both debutantes.

Maybe giving MJ his head as the leader of the attack would be very good for him.

Late to this thread but nevertheless -
I think Bill Lawry's the best of the lot.
He's hilarious, a total cricket tragic who loves the game with a passion; and if anyone gets off the point - 'well, so and so became the proud parents of a new son yesterday' - he'll reply with, 'what a shot - went to the fence like a rocket!' And he's so sublimely patriotic towards anything Victorian, hehe.
He still gets excited and thrilled with the contest, after all those years.

For me, the very worst was Greg Chappell. I cringe at every remembrance of that monotone voice.

I don't mind if Hilfenhaus gets a run, but I'd love to see Bollinger have a go, especially after India.

Aye, Bill is grouse. Richie is still the master although prone to the odd silly old fart comment, Greig is a farkknuckle, Crapelli shi!ts me to tears, Healy can be a nerdy bore, Nicholarse is a gay tosser, Tubby talks sense, The Nob goes OK, and Warnie was a breathe of fresh air.

Is the Nob Michael Slater?? He's not too bad once you get used to that slow, deliberate ha-ha-ha-ha- laugh.

And tell me Mark Nicholas isn't gay!! I've spent countless hours dribbling over his noice looks, that lovely voice, refeened manner.

Whilst recently exposed to the Nine commentary team, I turned off the volume and wondered if others
out there felt the same way.
I'm glad they do.

Ch 9 are shit ...I stopped listening intently years ago

I have a suspicion that Brayshaw is deliberately an idiot ...because someone thinks it's "good tv"

Not one dissenting voice so far.

I also hav'nt listened to nein for years. Even though the radio coverage is out of sync with the tv coverage, its still preferable to neins twaddle.
