Actually Pete, my post was directed at Zimi, but it worked just as well on yours.

VoR: Shut the ****** up.
I don't care if it's true, I don't want to hear it.

Invader Zim wrote:I'm afraid Lee will be taken to England. This injury has come at the worst possible time for our Ashes chances. If he'd been fit for selection for the next four Tests (Sydney and Yarpie tour), he'd not survive them without being dropped...now he's almost a dead cert to be called back to 'save' Australia for the Ashes. I can already hear the dubber press pumping up his tyres.Zat wrote:I refuse to get my hopes up. But I think the selectors can only afford to take one bloke recovering from an injury on the Ashes tour. And that shouldn't be the bloke who proved incredibly erratic last time he returned from injury.
Actually, I do wonder if even the Dubber press are sick of him. He was an interesting, paper-selling luxury when we had TGM and tgm, now they realise that actually we can't afford him.

Speaking of sackings, the Aust physio must be on thin ice given Symonds' and Lee's fitness.
Wouldn't have happened under Hooter.

Would half-fit players have even been chosen in days gone by?JGK wrote:Speaking of sackings, the Aust physio must be on thin ice given Symonds' and Lee's fitness.

It's time to give that physio due credit. Cleaned out some dead wood ... good man.
